Dear Eder Academy of Canada community,
As we look ahead to the new year, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year. This important holiday marks the beginning of the lunar new year and is celebrated by millions of people around the world. The festival season lasts for fifteen days, culminating in the Lantern Festival on the evening of February 5th, 2023.
At Eder Academy of Canada, we are proud to have a diverse community of students and staff, and we want to take this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the many cultures and traditions represented in our school. Whether you celebrate Chinese New Year or not, we encourage you to learn more about this important holiday and appreciate the cultural significance it holds for millions of people.
In recognition of the Chinese Spring Festival, our school will be closed from January 22nd to February 5th, 2023. We encourage all of our students and staff to take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the company of loved ones. Whether you celebrate with a traditional feast, attend a lion dance performance, or simply spend time with family and friends, we hope that this holiday brings you joy and happiness.
As always, we want to remind everyone to prioritize their health and safety during this time. As COVID-19 remains a concern in our community, we urge you to follow public health guidelines and take precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell, please stay home and seek medical attention if necessary.
Finally, we want to express our gratitude to each and every member of our Eder Academy of Canada community. Your dedication, hard work, and perseverance have made this school a truly special place. We look forward to continuing to learn and grow together in the new year.
Wishing you all a safe and joyous Chinese Spring Festival,
The Eder Academy of Canada Team
