China’s performance at the Olympics in the last decade has been rather extraordinary. China has outshone many countries in areas of table tennis, diving, gymnastics, weightlifting, shooting, and badminton. In Tokyo, China is currently represented in 30 spots at the games.
The youngest Olympic athlete is diver Quan Hongchan at aged 14. This is an amazing accomplishment for Chinese teenagers worldwide. This age proves the possibilities and opportunities available with constant hard work and willpower. She is one of the youngest competitors at the Tokyo Olympic Games. Hongchan is a Guangdong native and is 28 years younger than the oldest Chinese athlete.
Quan Hongchan won the nation over as a 13-year-old, dedicating previous wins to her sick mother. Hongchan dedicated her life to diving in 2014 and seven years later is competing at the Olympic level. Can you say wow? Additionally, states news agency Xinhua expects China to win gold in diving.
The second youngest athlete is Chen Yuxi at aged 15. This individual won the 2019 world championships and is no rookie.
We are all excited to see them compete.
Canada will be routing too!
